Facebook 最近在台灣地區推出了 Instant Articles 功能，可以讓新聞類的文章載入速度比目前標準行動網頁文章快 10 倍，目前首批上線的台灣出版者包含蘋果日報、中時電子報、及壹周刊，第二波將會再納入 ETtoday 東森新聞雲、三立電視、聯合報系、及 Vogue Taiwan 等，未來讀者在 Facebook 上開啟這些網站的文章速度將會更快。
Facebook 發現，隨著越來越多人們在行動裝置上閱讀新聞，目前平均載入每篇新聞需花 8 秒鐘，是 Facebook 上載入最慢的內容形式，為了要讓使用者們閱讀新聞更方便快速，導入 Instant Articles 後，可讓閱讀體驗比目前標準行動網頁文章快 10 倍。

Look for the lightning bolt on the top right corner of some stories shared in News Feed. The lightning bolt indicates it's an Instant Article. When you tap the story, it loads ten times faster than a standard mobile web article and the reading experience is beautiful and interactive. 每一篇 Instant Articles 右上角將出現閃電標記，所以在動態消息看到閃電標記時，就可以知道這篇文章將是快速互動的閱讀體驗。除了閱讀得更快，Instant Articles 也推出一整套互動功能，像是傾斜手機就能 Zoom in 放大高解析度的照片，滑動內容時可自動播放的影片、另外還有互動地圖、有聲標題、甚至對文章的每一個內文獨立段落按讚或評論等功能。
目前 Instant Articles 只支援 iPhone 用戶，Android 用戶將在未來推出，目前僅有少量的 beta 測試者。
